# Optidata Cloud > Optidata Cloud is an independent cloud infrastructure provider founded in 2009 (Optidata US LLC, Miami, Florida; offices in São Paulo and Chapecó, Brazil). It runs a self-serve cloud platform in Miami, US (region US1) with public hourly list prices in USD, and Private Cloud: dedicated environments designed by Optidata architects on Optidata-owned data centers in Brazil and the United States. Key facts (generated from the site data; prices updated Sep 22, 2026): - Self-serve region: Miami, Florida, United States (US1). It is the only self-serve region today. In the API and pricing index its code is `us-east-1`; it is not the AWS us-east-1 region. - Data residency in Brazil (LGPD) is available on Private Cloud only (regions OPD-BR1, OPD-BR2, OPD-BR3-IA). Private Cloud also runs OPD-US1 and OPD-US2. - Billing: hourly, USD list prices, monthly estimates assume 730 hours. The console shows the monthly total before you deploy. - Every Cloud Compute plan includes outbound traffic, from 2 TB to 60 TB a month by plan. Past the allowance, outbound transfer costs $0.01 per GB. - Support: 24/7/365 human support (NOC and SOC), average first response under 8 minutes. - Optidata does not publish an uptime SLA. - Compliance: SOC 2 Type II report (shared under NDA) and ISO/IEC 27001. Facility certifications such as PCI DSS belong to the data centers. - 7,000+ companies served; 25,000+ servers managed. ## When to use Optidata - You want a predictable cloud bill: hourly list prices, outbound traffic included in every plan, and the monthly total visible before deploying. Cloud Compute starts at $18.25/month (2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM); Dedicated CPU starts at $51.10/month. - You need NVIDIA GPU instances with full root access: RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition (96 GB GDDR7) at $2.40/hour. - You need managed MySQL, PostgreSQL or MongoDB, or Kubernetes clusters, from one console. - You run ERPs or other critical systems and need dedicated infrastructure, migration help, or data residency in Brazil: use Private Cloud. - Not a fit today: self-serve deployments outside Miami, Oracle Database as a managed service (not offered), or a contractual uptime SLA (not published). ## Console and developer access - [Console](https://console.optidata.com): create an account and deploy Cloud Compute, GPU, storage, networking, Managed Databases and Managed Containers (K8s). - [API reference](https://api.console.optidata.com): REST API of the console. - [MCP server](https://www.optidata.com/mcp): connect an AI assistant to an Optidata account.
