**Automated backups, on from the first boot.** Protect Cloud Compute instances on a schedule you choose. Full and incremental backups managed by the platform. Cost is a flat fee per schedule plus the storage it holds, published in the catalog before you enable it.

## What you get

- **Schedule backups during setup:** Enable a backup schedule, such as weekly backups, when you deploy the instance. No external tools required.
- **Full + incremental:** The platform mixes full and incremental backups to save time and space. You see which is which in the list.
- **Restore points with timestamps:** Each backup shows name, source instance, size, type, and availability status.
- **Predictable cost:** Compute backup is billed per schedule and per GB stored. GPU backup uses a percentage of the instance and disk costs.
