Optidata Cloud bills Compute by the hour, and monthly prices assume 730 hours. Every Compute plan includes outbound traffic, from 2 TB to 60 TB a month by plan. Past the allowance, outbound transfer costs $0.01 per GB. Object Storage downloads share a 1.02 TB monthly allowance per account.

Hourly billing

  • Compute instances are metered by the hour. Stop an instance and the compute meter stops with it.
  • Monthly figures on the price list and in the calculator assume 730 hours of runtime: hourly price × 730.
  • Prices are list prices in USD for Miami (US1).
  • The console and the calculator show the estimated monthly cost as you configure. Final charges match the resources running in your console.

Outbound allowance by plan

Each instance comes with its own monthly outbound transfer allowance and a public IP. GPU prices already include the vCPU and RAM listed.

Traffic past the allowance

Outbound data transfer above the plan allowance costs $0.01 per GB. The examples below count 1 TB as 1,000 GB, as the pricing calculator does.

Example. A Balanced 2 vCPU · 4 GB instance includes 2 TB of outbound traffic. If it sends 3 TB in a month, the extra 1,000 GB cost $10.00 on top of the plan's $18.25.

Object Storage downloads

ItemPrice
Bucket, first 250 GB included$5.00 per month
Storage past the included 250 GB$0.02 per GB per month
Downloads within 1.02 TB per account per monthIncluded
Downloads past the included 1.02 TB$0.01 per GB
UploadsFree, not counted toward the allowance

The download allowance is shared by all buckets in the account. A 1 TB bucket lands at about $20 per month.

Estimate your bill

  1. Open the pricing calculator and add your servers. New servers start with the outbound traffic included in the plan.
  2. Raise the outbound traffic per server to what you expect to send. The estimate adds the per-GB charge past the allowance.
  3. Add Object Storage, Load Balancer and the other services you use, then compare the total with the price list.

When you deploy, the console shows the estimated monthly cost before you confirm.

Frequently asked questions

Is outbound traffic included in Optidata Cloud plans?

Yes. Every Compute plan includes outbound transfer, from 2 TB to 60 TB a month by plan. Traffic past the allowance is billed at $0.01 per GB.

How does hourly billing work?

Compute is metered by the hour. Monthly figures on the price list assume 730 hours of runtime. Stop an instance and the compute meter stops with it.

What does 1 TB of extra outbound traffic cost?

Counting 1 TB as 1,000 GB, as the pricing calculator does, 1 TB past the allowance costs $10.00 at $0.01 per GB.

How are Object Storage downloads billed?

Downloads from Object Storage share a monthly allowance of 1.02 TB per account. Past it, downloads cost $0.01 per GB. Uploads are free and do not count toward the allowance.

Where do the prices come from?

From the Optidata console catalog, the same source the deploy flow uses. Final charges always match the resources running in your console.
