Block Storage disks renamed to OPTI-FLASH-NVME and OPTI-COLD-HDD
The NVMe disk is now called OPTI-FLASH-NVME and the NLSAS disk is now called OPTI-COLD-HDD. Prices and behavior did not change.
The two Block Storage disk types have new names on optidata.com: OPTI-NVME is now OPTI-FLASH-NVME, and OPTI-HDD is now OPTI-COLD-HDD.
Only the names changed. OPTI-FLASH-NVME stays at $0.10 per GB per month and OPTI-COLD-HDD at $0.03 per GB per month.
The console catalog and the API may still return the previous names. The offering codes are unchanged: opti-nvme and opti-hdd.
Managed Containers (K8s) in the console and on the price list
Managed Containers (K8s) is available in the Optidata console and on Private Cloud, with cluster prices on the public price list.
Managed Containers (K8s) is the product name for managed Kubernetes on Optidata, available in the console and on Private Cloud.
The public price list shows two cluster fees. Worker nodes are Cloud Compute instances and are billed at Compute prices.
- Cluster management: $20 per cluster per month.
- High-availability control plane add-on: $40 per cluster per month.
- On the price list since September 17, 2026, and in the pricing calculator since September 9, 2026.
Object Storage download price published

Managed Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB
The Managed Databases page now describes the self-serve product in the Optidata console: MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB in Miami (US1).
Managed Databases is a self-serve product in the Optidata console, in the Miami (US1) region. The product page describes it as verified in the console on September 18, 2026.
The create wizard has four steps: Region, Database, Network and Backup, with the monthly total shown before you create the database.
- Engines: MySQL 8.4 and 8.0, PostgreSQL 18 and 17, MongoDB 8.0, 7.0 and 6.0.
- Storage per node on OPTI-FLASH-NVME or OPTI-COLD-HDD, from 50 GB to 10,000 GB, billed per GB.
- Private network by default. Public exposure requires authorized IPv4 CIDR ranges.
- Daily or weekly backups, keeping 1, 3 or 7 copies, with 50 GB of backup storage included.
- Database prices are shown in the console. They are not on the public price list yet.
Public price list at /pricing
optidata.com/pricing publishes the list prices of the Optidata console catalog for Miami (US1), in USD.
The English price list is public at /pricing. It reads the same catalog the console uses, refreshed into the site by hand and checked against the console API.
Monthly figures assume 730 hours of usage. Compute is billed by the hour.
- Cloud Compute: Dedicated (AMD) and Balanced (Intel) plans, each with an outbound transfer allowance.
- GPU Cloud, Block Storage, OS licensing.
- Object Storage, Load Balancer, Managed Containers (K8s), networking, backup and snapshots, Anti-DDoS.
GPU plans: RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell, H200 coming soon
The price catalog lists an NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell plan at $2.40 per hour and an NVIDIA H200 plan marked as coming soon.
Two GPU offers entered the console price catalog. GPU prices already include the vCPU and RAM listed, so there is no separate VM charge.
- RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell: 16 vCPU, 64 GB RAM, 20 TB of monthly outbound transfer, $2.40 per hour ($1,752 per month). Available.
- H200: 24 vCPU, 240 GB RAM, 12 TB of monthly outbound transfer, $4.47 per hour ($3,263.10 per month). Coming soon.
Receive a calculator estimate by email
The pricing calculator can email your estimate as a CSV file, with the comparison table and a link that reopens the same configuration.
The Email estimate button in the pricing calculator sends the current estimate to your work email as a CSV file.
The file carries the configuration, a share link that restores it, the comparison by provider and the totals. Nothing is downloaded in the browser.
Google Cloud added to the calculator comparison
The pricing calculator compares your Optidata estimate with AWS and Google Cloud list prices, product by product, in the Compare view.
Google Cloud joined AWS as a reference in the calculator's Compare view, with one column per provider and the source of each price.
Google Cloud prices are for us-central1 (Iowa), captured on September 7, 2026. AWS prices are for us-east-1. These are different locations from Optidata Miami (US1).
Items without an equivalent, such as GPU and managed backup on Google Cloud, leave that provider's total marked as incomplete instead of counting as zero.
Pricing calculator public in English
The pricing calculator at /pricing/calculator estimates a monthly bill from the Optidata catalog, with versioned prices and shareable links.
The calculator is a cost simulator. It does not provision resources. Totals are calculated on the server from a versioned price catalog, so a shared link reproduces the prices it was created with.
- Compute (Dedicated and Balanced), GPU, Managed Containers (K8s) and volumes.
- Object Storage, Load Balancer, IPv4, VPC and snapshots.
- Comparison with AWS list prices for the same configuration.
Optidata Cloud MCP server is now hosted
The Optidata Cloud MCP server runs inside the Optidata Cloud API. AI clients connect over Streamable HTTP with an API key, nothing to install.
Version 1.0.0 of the ocs-mcp-plugin moved the MCP server from a local process into the Optidata Cloud API. Every client talks to the same endpoint: https://console.optidata.com/api/v1/mcp.
Tools are derived from the API contract, so new API routes become tools without a plugin update. The API key's scopes decide which tools a client is offered.
Version 1.0.1, the same day, documented the object storage tools in the provisioning skill.
