Managed Databases on the price list and in the calculator, with Balanced plans

Every Managed Databases plan is now on the public price list and in the pricing calculator, priced per node per month, including new Balanced (shared CPU) plans from 1 vCPU.

Published

The console publishes the Managed Databases catalog through GET /api/v1/database-offerings, and the price list at /pricing now shows every plan for PostgreSQL, MySQL and MongoDB in Miami (US1), priced per node per month.

Balanced plans run on shared CPU, from 1 vCPU and 1 GB of RAM. Dedicated plans run on exclusive CPU, from 2 to 16 vCPU.

The pricing calculator adds Managed Databases as a product: engine, Balanced or Dedicated, plan, replicas, disk type and disk size per node. AWS and Google Cloud have no verified managed database equivalent in the comparison, so their totals show as incomplete when a database is in the estimate.

  • Plans from $14.88 per node per month (MySQL Balanced, 1 vCPU, 1 GB).
  • PostgreSQL Dedicated 2 vCPU / 4 GB is $71.10 and 2 vCPU / 8 GB is $94.78 per node per month.
  • Each replica is billed at the plan price and has its own disk. Replica options depend on the engine and plan, and a single-node database is also valid.
  • Storage per node: OPTI-FLASH-NVME at $0.10 and OPTI-COLD-HDD at $0.03 per GB-month, from 50 GB.
  • Backup storage is included up to the size of the provisioned disk, then $0.03 per GB-month. Backups keep 1 or 3 copies on PostgreSQL and on MongoDB Balanced, and 1, 3 or 7 on the other plans.
